ORDER & QUANTITY
What is the minimum number of records I can press? Do you accommodate short-run (small batch) vinyl orders?
We go as low as 100 records per order, as one of the few pressing plants in Europe.
If my record sells out, can I easily reorder more copies later (do you keep the stampers for future pressings)?
We store your stampers in our basement, unless you request to take it with you.
AUDIO & MASTERING
Do I need to have my music mastered specifically for vinyl?
Yes — vinyl requires its own dedicated mastering. There’s a common misconception that you can use the same master as for digital formats, but this can lead to costly delays and disappointing results.
Can you assist with mastering my audio for vinyl or provide in-house vinyl mastering services?
We recommend having your cutting engineer handle the vinyl mastering. They’re the ones who’ll cut your record and know exactly how your music will translate from a digital file to physical grooves, using the specific cutting equipment involved. Feel free to contact us to guide you.
What audio file format should I provide for the vinyl pressing (e.g. high-quality WAV, analog tape, etc.)?
We store your stampers in our basement, unless you request to take it with you.
ARTWORK & DESIGN
Do you have artwork templates or guidelines for preparing the record jackets and labels?
We sure do. Under our Artwork and Packaging section (under Services > Artwork and Packaging), you’ll find all the templates and guidelines you need for preparing your album cover, labels, inner sleeves, and more.
Can you help with designing the album artwork or labels if I don’t have a designer?
Yes, absolutely. We work with several talented designers who can help at any stage. Whether you already have artwork that needs to be placed into templates and fine-tuned, or you just have a rough idea you want to bring to life. Even if you don’t have a concept yet, we’ve got people who can help create something that fits your music perfectly. Just get in touch and we’ll guide you from there.
PRODUCTION, TIMELINE & QUALITY
What is the typical production turnaround time for a vinyl pressing project?
From the moment we’ve received all your materials (artwork and audio) and your initial shipping invoice is paid, test pressings are ready within 4 weeks. Once you approve the test pressings, final production takes another 4 weeks. So in total, you can expect your records within 2.5 months.
We also offer an express production option (when available), where everything can be ready within 45 days from material delivery. Read more in the question below.
Is there a rush or express service available if I need my vinyl order completed faster than usual?
Yes, we do offer an express production option (when available), where everything can be ready within 45 days from the time we receive all your materials. If you have a specific release date in mind, please let us know — we’ll always do our best to make it work.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Do you ship internationally, and can you handle customs or duties for overseas orders?
Yes, we ship worldwide. If you’d like us to handle customs and duties, just let us know — we’re happy to help.
Can you ship my records to multiple addresses or split the shipment of my order?
We currently ship to more than three addresses outside the EU, and we charge an additional €30 per address for customs handling pr additional address.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT & EXPERIENCE
How will I be kept updated on the status of my order during production? Will I receive progress updates or have a point of contact for questions?
We really pride ourselves on keeping you in the loop every step of the way. You’ll always know where things stand — and when you can expect to hear from us next.
We understand that vinyl production is a big investment and can feel like a long process, especially when you have a release date or deadline. That’s why we focus on clear, consistent updates and being available for any questions you have. We’re also constantly working to improve how we communicate and track progress to make the experience even smoother.
Can I visit the pressing plant to watch my records being pressed, and am I allowed to film or document the process?
You are more than welcome to come visit the plant — just send us an email or give us a call, and we’ll set it up. We’ll have coffee, tea, or a cold drink ready for you. If you’d like to film or create promotional material during your visit, that’s absolutely fine. And if you can’t make it in person, we’re also happy to film the pressing process for you. Just be in touch, and we’ll find a solution that works.
